Embark on the steep ascent of the Ghorepani Poohill trek for majestic sights of the gigantic Himalayan peaks like Annapurna, Fishtail. Pass through quaint pastoral hilly villages embellished with culture and religion. Witness the festivals of the ethnic Gurungs and Magars communities blending with local people popular for hospitable and humble behavior furnished through their coordination, friendliness, smiley faces.
During spring season is perfect season as the trail is carpeted by the rhododendron flowers, but in winter, the whole area sparkles with the sunlight snow.

After breakfast, a full-day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple; heritage site dedicated to Lord Shiva and popular for traditional cremation on the bank of Bagmati River, Boudhanath Stupa; biggest stupa of Nepal which is also a hub for meditation and also pilgrimage sites for Buddhist and other visitors also. Kathmandu Durbar Square; a historical site that embraces palaces and courtyards of old Malla and Shah Kings dates back from 14 to 15 centuries onwards. And also visit Kumari Ghar; a house of the living goddess Kumari & Swoyambhunath Stupa; stupa style on the top of the hill offering the breathtaking vision of the complete Kathmandu valley then descend from temple stepping on 365 stone steps. After breakfast, we start our journey setting out for Pokhara; natural paradise blessed with nature’s treasure and gateway for famous trekking destinations and lies 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. We drive for six hours’ to reach Pokhara and during the journey enjoy the breathtaking vision of the terraced rice field, an amazing landscape, and serene Trisuli and Marsyandi River.
After breakfast, drive to Ulleri from Pokhara on the narrow winding one-way road which is the best option to escape steep uphill stony steps to reach Ullleri. During 2.5 hours journey, we cover 52 kilometers distance. Then from Ulleri, we trek to Banthanti for the overnight. Overnight at the Banthant
After breakfast, trek to Ghorepani. At first, we take the ascending trail to arrive at our lunch spot at Deurali (3180 m), which is the highest point of the trek. After lunch, continue trek along the trail running through the rhododendrons forest for roughly about 1 1/2 hours to reach at Ghorepani for the overnight. Overnight at the Ghorepani.
Early in the morning with an hour hike on the ascending trail to Poonhill located at the elevation of 3210 meters, we will enjoy the dazzling sunrise view above the snow-clad peaks. After enjoying the sensational sunrise glimpses we will down trek for 1 hour to reach Ghorepani. Then we have breakfast at Ghorepani and walk on a descending trail and cross Ghar Khola Bridge and pass through Deurali to enjoy the peaceful environment of beautiful country village Banthanti. We trek uphill from Bantanti to reach Tadapani. During 5-6 hours trek, we descend 200 meters than Ghorepani.
After breakfast, we will reach Ghandruk from Tadapani trekking on the downhill trail that crosses rhododendron, oak dense forests on 6-7 hours trek. After arriving at Ghandruk we will explore the handicraft center and Gurung museum and also enjoy the awesome vision of Himalayan peaks, from Ghandruk. Then drive to Pokhara from Ghandruk on the vehicle.
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a full day at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.
Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.
Sleeping bag (5 seasons), lock, day pack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve, gaiters.
Insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, laundry soap, wet ones, pocket knife, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, film, cards and personal medical kit.
Itinerary and Dates: Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it. Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. Your guide, and their Sherpa assistants, will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary. Our aim is to return you safely to Kathmandu in time for your departure flight booking.
Experience Required: This Trek is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 6 – 7 hours each day, with a light rucksack. Some of the days are quite long, and walking feels more strenuous at altitude. Generally, the trail is a good quality, but occasionally it will be uneven and rocky.
Food & Accommodation: You will be accommodated in a teahouse each night, unless the itinerary stipulates tent camping is necessary on some nights. Teahouses are simple, locally-run guesthouses with twin-share or single rooms. Toilets and showers are of varying standards. Typical food available for lunch and dinner is Nepali rice & lentils, pasta, potato dishes, soups or pizzas. Delicious pancakes, porridge, toast and eggs are the main breakfast fare, while tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available. You will probably be pleasantly surprised by the variety of food at the lodges.
What about our luggage: One porter will be shared between two trekking clients. Porters will carry a maximum of 12kgs per client. If you wish to, you may keep excess clothing and items in a storage room at your Kathmandu hotel.
What will the temperature be like: The weather obviously varies considerably by season and may also change drastically within a single day, particularly at high altitude. If your itinerary takes you above 3,000m need to be prepared for conditions that may range from -10 to 25 degrees on any day. How much money should we bring: You will need to carry Nepali Rupee to pay for things not covered by your itinerary package. This may include bottled water; evening hot showers; additional food treats; additional hot drinks; equipment replacement or repairs; battery charging and gifts and tips. What about Acute Mountaineering Sickness (AMS): AMS is essentially impossible to predict. Some people are affected, and other not. Only a very small percentage of people suffer serious effects. Effects may become apparent at any altitude, not just at the extremes of your itinerary.
