Visitors to Nepal who plan to trek in any of the popular trekking regions of the country are required to obtain, and carry with them, a Trekking Permit specific to the region they will visit. These Permits are issued by the Department of Immigration located at Kalikasthan, Dillibazar, Kathmandu. However, Langtang Ri Trekking will obtain all necessary permits for its clients as part of our pre-trek client service.
A trekking permit is a must to travel to the controlled areas mentioned below. Permits, however, are issued only to groups. Individual trekkers will not be issued a trekking permit.
