Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu Overnight in hotel (1,300m)

After the arrival at the airport, our representative who will be present at the airport showing the placard of your name will pick up at the airport. And drive you to the hotel. On arrival check-in at the hotel where you will be accommodated during your Kathmandu stay. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Drive to Syabrubesi Overnight in trekking lodge (1,460m)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, 8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi which is the starting point of the trek, heading north on the windy road running at the bank of Trisuli river. You can go either by public bus or private vehicle but private vehicles are safe and highly recommended. You can observe the Chilime hydropower plant on Syabrubesi designed on the run-of-the-river model. Overnight at the Hotel. We will cover 120 kilometers during the journey.

Day 03 :

Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel Overnight in trekking lodge (2,500m)

After breakfast, we trek from Syabrubesi and cross Bhotekoshi and follow Langtang Khola for the gradual climb up to Bamboo and pass through landslide to reach Lama Hotel located at the elevation of 2470 meters from sea level. During the 6-7 hours trek, we gain an altitude of 1000 meters covering 11.3 kilometers to reach the Lama Hotel overnight.

Day 04 :

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village. Overnight in trekking lodge (3,450m)

After breakfast, we leave Lama Hotel and head toward Langtang village via GhoreTabela to enjoy the amazing scenery of green meadows utilized to graze Yak and for livestock of local people. We explore graceful monastery on way to Langtang valley. On 5-6 hours today trek, we cover 14.8 kilometers gaining the altitude of almost 950 meters for the overnight at Langtang valley.

Day 05 :

Langtang valley to Kyanjin Gompa Overnight in trekking lodge (3,817m)

After breakfast, continue the trek on the gradual uphill trail that crosses green pasture as well as other tiny villages Mondoo, singdum for the overnight at Kyanjing Gompa. During the 4-5 hours trek, we cross 6.8 kilometers distance to reach Kyanjing Gompa; beautiful village encircled by towering Kyanjing Ri and Tserko Ri and we gain the altitude of almost 500 meters from yesterday overnight venue. We will explore the traditional Yak cheese factory on Kyanjing Gompa.

Day 06 :

Explore around Kyanjin Gompa and climb to Tsergo Ri Overnight in trekking lodge (5,150m)

Today is rest day at Kyanjing Gompa for acclimatization. And we will ascend to Tserko Ri and enjoy the scenic beauty from the top of the hill then descend to Kyanjing for overnight stay.

Day 07 :

Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,500m) Overnight in trekking lodge

After breakfast, the trek from Kyanjing Gompa on the downhill trail to reach Lama Hotel as from today onwards we will gradually descend to reach the next destination for the overnight. During the 7-8 hours trek, we cross 20.6 kilometers distance where we descend almost 1300 meters we will pass through forests and culturally adorned villages enjoying the different views of the snowy peaks.

Day 08 :

Lama Hotel to ThuloSyabru(2210m/5-6hrs) Overnight in trekking lodge

After breakfast, we gradually climb upwards and pass Langtang National Park's army checkpoint. Within half an hour of uphill trekking, we reach Daragang. The trail is less steep from here, as it passes, through the hemlock and oak forest. While passing the forest you may also spot the rare red panda. We will stop for the night.

Day 09 :

Thulo Syabru –Singgompa(3300m/5-6hrs)overnight in trekking lodges

After breakfast, A steep, chorten-lined trail takes us up through dense forests of oak and rhododendron to Foprang Danda, and then eases up as we make our way steadily to Sing Gompa and its picturesque setting and impressive views. With enough time at our disposal, we can visit the monastery and sit back to relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 10 :

Singgompa to Gosinkunda(4380m/5-6hrs) overnight in trekking lodges

After breakfast, A day of superlatives as we climb through dense woodland to Cholangpati, then take a steep trail towards Lauribinak and its glorious views of Ganesh Himal, Lantang Himal, Manaslu, and the distant Annapurnas. Alpine scenery comes into focus as we break free of the tree line and make our way to the sacred pools of water at Gosaikunda, chief among which are the three pristine lakes known as Saraswaitkunda, Bhairabkunda, and the holiest of all, Gosaikunda itself.

Day 11 :

Gosaikunda to Chandanbari(2,350m/4-5hrs) overnight in trekking lodges

Day 12 :

Trek from Chandanbari to Dhunche (1950m/2-3hrs) then drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel

We trek from Chandanbari on the downhill path for 2-3 hours to reach Dhunche. From Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu. The drive is around 7-8 hours long. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13 :

Rest day in Kathmandu overnight in hotel

This is the free day to explore a little more of Kathmandu and complete your gift shopping.

Day 14 :

Departure From Home

We will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport in plenty of time to meet your flight home.

Essential information

Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.

Experience Required: This Trek is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 6 – 7 hours in a day, with a light rucksack. Some of the days are quite long, and the walking feels more strenuous at altitude. Generally the trail is a good track, but occasionally it will be uneven and rocky.

Food & Accommodation: You will be accommodated in tea house & during trekking .Tea houses are simple, local-run guesthouses with twin-share or single rooms. Toilets and showers are of varying standards.

Typical food available for lunch and dinner is Nepali rice & lentils, pasta, potato dishes, soups or pizzas. Delicious pancakes, porridge, toast and eggs are the main breakfast fare, while tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available. You will probably be pleasantly surprise at the variety of food at the lodges.

What about our luggage?

1 Porter will be shared between 2 participants, they take a maximum load of 12kgs per participant.

You may keep things you will not use on trek at our hotel in Kathmandu.

What will the temperature be like?

Basically the atmospheric temperature fluctuates between -10 to 25 degrees throughout the day.

When we are trekking, temperature would be on the high.

For trekking, our concerns are focused on sun and wind exposure. Do to protect yourselves, you can wear long trekking pants or convertibles, in case it gets to warm and a dri-fit long sleeve top and have the rain shell or outer waterproof layer accessible.
You’ll need your fleece or maybe the down jackets for those who are more afraid of cold when we reach the lodgings or at night to keep warm.

How much money should we bring?

You will need to carry Nepali Rupee if you decide you want to more shower than 3 times, or have additional hot water on trek. At the trekking lodges, you may wish to buy specialty menu items as well, or pick up souvenirs on trek. Shopping can be done on your last day in Thamel area.

What about Acute Mountaineering Sickness (AMS)?

AMS occurs to different people differently at different altitude due to our tolerance level.

Signs of AMS includes:

Dizziness

Nausea

Loss of Appetite

Fatigue or weakness

Shortness of breath

Drowsiness

Flatulation

Peripheral Edema (Swelling of extremities)

Fluctuation in body temperature

Prevention of AMS:

Adequate REST prior to the trip.

Adequate HYDRATION during the trek or activity. (It is alright to keep going to the loo, it is good for you)

Adequate SALT AND SUGAR in your bloodstream. (Basically EAT)

Adequate WARMTH. (Keep yourself warm and try to not lose as much heat as possible to maintain bodily functions)

PROPER BREATHING. (Breathe deep into the diaphragm, breathe slow and steady. Breathe through your nose. Do not pant.)

PROPER EXERTION. (Go at a constant, manageable pace, do not chase after the person in front, try not to keep stopping and starting)

All in all, sound out when you do not feel well. We are only human.
