Overview
Nepal Tour 9-days is beginning in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,265 ft), the cultural heart of the country. Explore iconic heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Ghar, and Swayambhunath Stupa, all within the city’s 5–10 km radius. On Day 3, enjoy a spectacular Everest heli tour, viewing peaks like Mount Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Makalu, followed by a short 200 km flight to Pokhara (827 m / 2,713 ft). From here, a 12 km drive to Sarangkot allows you to witness sunrise over Annapurna I (8,091 m) and Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and enjoy a 4–5 hour hike with panoramic views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding valleys.
The journey continues with sightseeing in Pokhara, including Bindhyabasini Temple, Tal Barahi Temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Davis Falls, Seti Gorge, and a one-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake, reflecting the Annapurna and Fishtail peaks. Next, a 120 km flight to Chitwan (250 m / 820 ft) brings you to the “Heart of the Jungle,” where you explore Chitwan National Park through jeep safaris, canoe rides on Rapti River, and guided nature walks to spot wildlife including one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, and Gharial crocodiles. The tour concludes with visits to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square in Kathmandu, highlighting Nepal’s exquisite Newari architecture and rich cultural heritage. This itinerary blends 550 km of travel, light hiking, and immersive experiences across Nepal’s most iconic cities, lakes, mountains, and jungles.
Everest helicopter Tour
Tour Flight takes you from Kathmandu Airport towards the east flying parallel to the Himalayan range maintaining the elevation of 6000/8000 ft as per the hills and the passes. Throughout the trip you will have the view of beautiful hills, flora and fauna. You will also get the view of many hill villages where you get a glimse of rural life of Nepalese people. Also you will see terrace fields with blooming mustard fields or the stretched green paddy fields in the lower parts of the country where as the mountain areas have green forest, White water Rivers etc. When the chopper approaches over Jiri, you will see the famous trail used by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, the first Everest conquerors in 1953.
You continue to follow the trail towards Lamjura, Junbesi and than to Lukla. At Lukla we will have a short stop to refuel, after that you will continue on your journey into the higher Himalayan region. You will first fly over Namche village, Periche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep. Than you reach Kalapathar, where you will experience the best view of Mt. Everest and other neighboring mountains. The view from Kalapathar is definitely one the main highlight of the heli tour.
Another landmark of this flight is landing at Everest View hotel, built and run by the Japanese management, this is another attractive view point from the ground level, the nearest point to watch the gigantic Everest across. From here there are superb views of Everest and the
Surrounding peaks, enjoy your breakfast enjoying the breathtaking views. You then return to Lukla to take on fuel before flying back to Kathmandu.
